order of interest: Once interest is declared by an ensemble, they begin the list for their state. Additional choirs may be added, but the first ensembles on the state’s list receives first priority for State Premiere commission. The Mass will be made available in wide distribution following the 2019-2020 season.
commissioning choir opportunities: One per state. Exclusive rights for performance through the 2019-20 season.
commissioning choir fee: $2,000 per Movements 1-9. Movement 10: $4,000

The Mass for the Unarmed Child will be written to bring attention to one of the most significant and challenging issues in our country today, gun violence. This crisis has devastated many families and many communities.
