The Great American Choral Reef | Why We Sing2018-06-12T18:18:54+00:00

Why Create the Great American Choral Reef?

Climate Change (Environmental)

As the world warms, our environment is changing and changing fast. Coral reefs sustain a vital part of our ecosystem, and they are bleaching and dying off.

There are millions of people in our world struggling from the effects of global warming; suffering through droughts, rising sea levels, and wars.

Let’s do something to draw attention to our warming world.

“The Great American Choral Reef” will unite choirs from around the country to sing together, each creating their unique version of “The Choral Reef”, as unique as each coral reef is in the ocean.

Together, each of these “Choral Reefs” will combine to create “The Great American Choral Reef” on Earth Day celebrations in April 2019.

Join us as we make a global impact!

Climate Change (Emotional)

As the world heats up, our society is changing and changing fast. The concept of “community” sustains a vital part of our society, yet we are divided and civility is dying off.

There are millions of people in our world struggling from the effects of heated language, power struggles, fear of “others”, and wars.

Let’s  do something to draw attention to our changing world.

“The Great American Choral Reef” will unite choirs from around the country to sing together, each creating their unique message of “The Choral Reef”, as unique as each coral reef is in the ocean.

Together, each of these “Choral Reefs” will combine to create “The Great American Choral Reef” on and around Earth Day celebrations in April 2019.
